Anne-Marie Duff has been an English actress, narrator and writer for over 30 years. Duff made a cameo appearance on TV in Trial & Retribution Amongst Women as well as Aristocrats during the 90s. Anne-Marie Duff is a Britsih actress born on the 8th of October 1970, in Chiswick, London, United Kingdom. Anne-Marie Duff was born on 8 October 1970. She is an English stage and screen actress. She first gained prominence as Fiona Gallagher during the UK's Shameless series. She then played Queen Elizabeth I in The Virgin Queen (2006) as well as the lead character in the television series From Darkness in 2015. Duff was in Enigma (2001), The Magdalene Sisters The Magdalene Sisters Scandal (2007) French Film (2008) The Last Station, Nowhere Boy Before Go To Sleep (2014) and Suffragette (2005). The actress was nominated for BAFTA Awards in Best Actress, Best Supporting Actress as well as Best Actress in Shameless The Virgin Queen. In addition to this she won the BAFTA Cymru Award in Best Actress in 2007 for the TV movie The History of Mr Polly. Anne-Marie Duff excels as an English award-winning actress. Her work has seen her appear on the theater, on television and in radio in equal measure. Her roles in Shameless (a British comedy-drama TV series) as well as The Virgin Queen, a television miniseries about the Queen Elizabeth I, earned her widespread recognition. Anne-Marie has also a lengthy history of performing on stage, including extensive work with her company, the Royal National Theatre.
